There is a misconception that academic hospitals are always better equipped than the community hospitals in this or that sense. And that was one of the selling points for me when I came is that there was equipment that allows me to practice to the full spectrum of neuro-interventional procedures here. It’s not every community hospital that provides such opportunities. What I saw in Adventist Health Glendale is that people were serious about what they do, and they had serious tools...to help patients.
