Austin Solheim serves as the Manager of Philanthropy for the foundation at Adventist Health on the Central Coast. Before stepping into healthcare philanthropy, Austin built a career in community-focused development, working with local organizations to strengthen donor engagement and expand philanthropic impact across San Luis Obispo County. Prior to his work in development, Austin served in government roles supporting public policy, community partnerships, and regional growth initiatives. The opportunity to combine mission-driven giving with meaningful community outcomes led Austin to healthcare philanthropy, where he believes generosity has the power to improve lives and strengthen the health of the Central Coast community.
