This fall, the Central Coast witnessed the power of community in action. At our Adventist Health Community Wellness Clinic, made possible by generous sponsorships, dedicated volunteers, and supporters like you, hundreds of individuals received vital services — from vision and dental care to access to fresh, healthy food — all at no cost to them.
In just one weekend, the clinic provided vision services to 134 patients, dental care to 105 patients, and distributed 55,600 pounds of fresh produce — more than $272,480 in care and resources delivered at no cost to our community.
This clinic is a powerful example of what philanthropy makes possible — when community generosity meets compassionate action, lives are changed.
Beyond this event, Adventist Health Sierra Vista and Adventist Health Twin Cities stand as cornerstones of care for residents of San Luis Obispo County. Every day, our hospitals provide the high-quality, life-saving services that families count on in their most critical moments.
At Adventist Health Sierra Vista, the region’s only Level III Trauma Center ensures that when emergencies happen, patients can receive advanced, life-saving care without leaving the community. Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and dedicated Pediatric Unit offer specialized, compassionate care for newborns and children, allowing families to stay close to home during some of their most vulnerable times. Across both hospitals, we are advancing surgical innovation and neurological care, giving patients access to treatments and expertise that were once only available in distant urban centers. And through a growing network of primary and specialty care clinics, we’re reaching deeper into the community — making care more accessible and strengthening the local health safety net for everyone who calls the Central Coast home.
